Winner of the 2017 Bourbon Mixed Drink Challenge

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz. Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon
  • ½ oz. Monin Lavender Syrup
  • ½ oz. Grapefruit juice @ ½ oz. organic Italian grapefruit soda
  • 2 wedges ruby red grapefruit & 10-12 mint leaves (muddled)
  • 4-5 dashes Bittermen’s Hopped Grapefruit bitters
  • Garnish: lavender stick and mint sprig
  • Crushed ice

 

DIRECTIONS:
Mix Bourbon, lavender syrup, grapefruit juice, ruby red grapefruit, grapefruit bitters and mint in dry shaker tin and muddle. Shake with ice and double strain into juice glass. Top with grapefruit soda. Garnish with lavender stick and mint sprig.
