Going to the Sampler, catch a ride from the Sampler to the Bardstown Bourbon Mixer! Get ready to howl at the Moon with the world-famous Dueling Piano performers, you request the song and the band will play it! These performers know how to bring the crowd to the dance floor. Two dueling pianos, drums and a guitarist with no set-list or agenda. They will perform any song from any genre making this event perfect for all ages. Nightclub and bar magazine named Howl at the Moon Dueling Piano Performers as one of its 100 best and we are bringing that to YOU. Join us in the barn enjoy the picture perfect backdrop of Kentucky’s rolling hills.

Food and beverages:  
Enjoy unique mixed cocktails and southern inspired foods with a twist. Such as Candied Bacon, Pimento cheese balls with a bourbon jelly sauce, Bourbon Chicken Skewers, Steak & Bacon Bites with bourbon with dipping sauces, Mini Crab Cakes & Bistro Sauce, Hot Onion Soufflé and Crackers, Pecan Cream Cheese Pie and a late night appetizer.

Drinks:
Each distiller will feature a southern inspired signature bourbon cocktail.  In addition Beer & Wine will be available as well!

NelCASA is a non-profit organization serving Nelson County since 1985, training volunteers to advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children within the court system.

Bardstown for the Arts/Gallery on the Square is hosting an art event highlighting the talent of the employees of the distilleries in and around Bardstown, Kentucky. The distilleries of Bardstown will have this opportunity to show off more than just their bourbon. Harrison-Smith House is proud to be hosting the third annual “Whiskey Pig” event and silent auction. Chief Newman Miller of HSH will be joined by Restaurateur Ryan Rogers and Chef Andy McCabe of Royal’s Hot Chicken and Feast BBQ, and the highly anticipated, yet to be open Bar Vetti. Small plates, and hors d’oeuvres will highlight Bluegrass cuisine and produce.

Third annual, exclusive barrel picks from Master Distiller, Drew Kulsveen, of Willett Distillery. We are thrilled to have Bill Thomas and Jared Hyman of renowned Jack Rose Dining Saloon, pouring their selection of elusive, and vintage bourbons. Mike Miller, Owner of Delilah’s, Chicago’s best whiskey bar, will be pouring Kentucky selections.

The silent auction is supported and planned with Mile Jasinski, founder of Jeeps for Joy. Vintage and collector bourbons are the run of the show.

The Delectable Distillery Tour

The Delectable Distillery Tour is a fundraising event for APRON Inc., a nonprofit that provides emergency financial funds to members of the Metropolitan Louisville Independent Restaurant community. Guests arrive in groups of 24 and are given a personalized walking tour of the Maker’s campus. Along the way they enjoy dishes prepared by 5 chefs, along with cocktail pairings of Maker’s products. While igniting your taste buds, feast your eyes on the incredible glass artwork of Dale Chihuly, woven into the Maker’s Mark landscape. The tour takes about 2 hours and is capped off by dipping a commemorative bottle in the signature red wax.

Tickets for the event are $130, or $150-$160 with bus transportation from Bardstown and Louisville respectively. Maker’s pays for all food and catering costs and donates every dollar of the ticket sales to APRON.

Start your festival weekend off with a classic Bourbon Capital breakfast!!  Sample from a tasty selection of Kentucky Proud Pancakes with a dram of Bourbon Enhanced Syrup, Scrambled Eggs, Jakes “Family Recipe” Sausage and Grandma Willett’s Country Biscuits.  Wash it all down with a cup of coffee and an assortment of juices.  Hosted by the Knights of Columbus and sponsored by Willett Distillery, this event features a unique signature drink carefully crafted and served by Willett Bourbon Ambassadors, and you get to keep a special “Willett Signature” glass.

A portion of the proceeds will be used to support members of our community with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the Guthrie Opportunity Center, www.gocenter.org.  On-The-GO Foods assisted us in creating the menu and the preparation of the entrees and our special Bourbon-Flavored condiments.

United Way – Spirit 5K

The United Way Spirit 5k is a certified course race that winds its way through Bardstown, Ky.  The race is held the 3rd weekend of September and coincides with Kentucky Bourbon Festival.
